Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov on Sunday, November 28, won the pursuit race at the World Cup in the Finnish town of Ruka.
At the same time, the entire prize pedestal was taken by Russian athletes. So, in second place is Sergey Ustyugov, in third – Artem Maltsev, reports “Sport-Express“.
Bolshunov covered the 15 km distance in 35 minutes 23.7 seconds. Ustyugov lagged behind the winner by 0.5 seconds, Maltsev’s result differs by 0.7 seconds.
However, the Norwegian national team refused to participate in the race due to frost.
A day earlier, Norwegian athlete Sturla Legrade won the individual race at the Biathlon World Cup in Ostersund, Sweden. The second place was taken by another Norwegian Tarjei Be, and the third – by the French biathlete Simon Destier.
The best indicator among Russian athletes was shown by Eduard Latypov, who took seventh place. At the finish line, the Russian mixed up the lines, because of which he lost time and worsened his result.
