In the village of Skachki, Penza Region, a 15-year-old schoolgirl died in an accident with five teenagers on two scooters. It is reported by Telegram-channel Life Shot.
Two schoolgirls, 14 and 15 years old, were staying with their grandmothers in the village. In the evening, they went to their friends in a neighboring village, and two 17-year-olds offered to give them a ride back on scooters. According to the channel, they got behind the wheel drunk. Three people were sitting on one of the scooters.
On the way to the village, one of the drivers slowed down on the side of the road, and the second, due to broken headlights, did not notice him and crashed at full speed. As a result of the road accident, one passenger died, three more were hospitalized with serious injuries. According to the channel, both teenagers traveled without a license or license plate.
A criminal case was initiated under article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of traffic rules and vehicle operation, resulting in the death of a person by negligence”).
Earlier it was reported that in Tyva, a thirteen-year-old teenager and six underage passengers driving a UAZ car got into an accident on the Chadan-Bazhyn-Alaak highway in the Dzun-Khemchik region. As a result of the incident, one of them died. At the time of the accident, none of the people in the cabin were wearing their seatbelts.
