Ukraine.- The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskydenounced today the total destruction of a airport near Vinnytsiain the west of the country, due to the impact of eight Russian missiles.
In a new video posted on the president’s official Telegram account, Zelensky stressed that “peaceful Vinnytsia has never threatened Russia.”
“The brutal and cynical missile attack left the airport completely destroyed. They (the Russians) continue to destroy our infrastructure, our life, which we, our parents, our grandparents, generations of Ukrainians built (…),” he said.
“We repeat every day: close the sky over Ukraine. Close it for all the Russian missiles, for the planes, for all these terrorists. Make a humanitarian air zone without missiles, without bombs”, he again addressed NATO allies, who have already ruled out a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

“We are people and it is their humanitarian duty to protect people and they can do it. If they don’t do this, give us planes so we can defend ourselves,” he emphasized, appealing to the “responsibility” of world leaders.
