Russian forces targeted Ukrainian units in the areas of the towns of Darino, Gogolevka, Milovoye, Nikolske and on the western outskirts of the city of Sudzha with fire.
Airstrikes destroyed 5 Stryker armored personnel carriers in the Yuzhny area, and a Ukrainian column consisting of a tank, 4 armored personnel carriers and a Kozak armored fighting vehicle in the area of the village of Martynovka.
Air and missile strikes also targeted enemy reserves in the Sumy region on the Ukrainian side of the border.
The statement said that the losses of the Ukrainian forces during the last 24 hours exceeded 280 soldiers and 27 armored vehicles, including 4 tanks, 5 armored personnel carriers, 18 armored combat vehicles, in addition to 6 cars, a 155 mm M777 howitzer, a 155 mm Crab self-propelled gun, and a 152 mm D-20 gun.
According to the statement, since the beginning of the fighting on the Kursk axis, the Ukrainian forces have lost a total of about 945 soldiers and 102 armored vehicles, including 12 tanks, 17 armored personnel carriers, 6 infantry fighting vehicles, 67 armored combat vehicles, in addition to 12 vehicles, two Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile systems and 3 pieces of field artillery.
