According to the conclusion of the psychological and psychiatric examination, the Russian was diagnosed with a mental disorder. “He needs to use compulsory medical measures in the form of compulsory treatment in a clinic that provides psychiatric care in a specialized type of inpatient setting with intensive supervision,” the Russian Investigative Directorate for the Samara Region reported.

On September 4, the suspect was found in St. Petersburg and taken to Samara, charged under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder of two persons”). The man confessed to the murder.
