Moscow requested a meeting of the UN Security Council because of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ permission to attack Russian territory
Russia has requested a meeting of the UN Security Council (SC) for June 14, the Russian Permanent Mission to the organization reported Telegram-channel.
As the publication says, it was asked to be held due to the fact that Western countries gave the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) the “green light” to strike Russian territory with the transferred weapons.
Previously, more than ten Western countries allowed Ukrainian troops to carry out strikes on Russian territory. These include Denmark, Great Britain, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Latvia, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Canada and Germany.
In addition, the United States allowed Ukraine to attack Russia on the condition that American weapons would be used only near the borders of the Kharkov region.
