General Director of Uraldronzavod Tkachuk: a heavy combat drone “Berdysh” has been developed
General Director of Uraldronzavod Vladimir Tkachuk said that the Russian company has developed a heavy combat drone “Berdysh” to support assault troops. He talked about this TASS.
“The Berdysh drone is a modular drone; depending on the assigned tasks, it can be used to lay anti-tank and anti-personnel mines and drop a powerful landmine on the enemy,” he noted.
In addition, the “Berdysh” can be used to inflict fire damage from the “Shmel” infantry rocket flamethrower or the RPG-30 “Hook”. The combat drone will also be able to help transport cargo for assault troops. Its payload capacity is 20 kilograms, and its flight range is 25 kilometers.
Earlier, the research and production association Izhevsk Unmanned Systems (NPO IzhBS, part of the Kalashnikov concern) presented a model of the complex with the Granat-4-E drone in Izhevsk at the celebration of Gunsmith’s Day. The military version of the product, “Granat-4”, was tested in the special operation zone. The drone was used for target designation during the destruction of various objects, including the American-made M1A1 Abrams tank.
