Rostec: the F-16 fighter is a typical target for the Pantsir-S air defense missile system
The F-16 fighters transferred to Kyiv are a typical target for the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun system (ZRPK), which shoots down stealth targets. ZRPK ability to hit aircraft appreciated industrial director of the arms cluster of the Rostec state corporation Bekhan Ozdoev.
“The Pantsir-S complex successfully shoots down complex targets with low radar signature. For example, Western stealth Storm Shadow cruise missiles and high-precision multiple launch rocket systems. It will not be difficult for the Pantsir to destroy such a typical target as an F-16,” he said.
Ozdoev added that the state corporation continues to work on new versions of the air defense system.
