Russia handed over to Armenia a mobile laboratory complex for detecting pathogens of infectious diseases, including for carrying out PCR tests for coronavirus, the Rospotrebnadzor website reported.
It is noted that the complex was handed over by the head of the department Anna Popova during the visit of the Russian delegation to Armenia. The report says that the capacity of the mobile display laboratory is up to 1600 samples per day. It allows you to study 300 samples for the presence of pathogens of infectious diseases of the III-IV pathogenicity groups, and is also capable of performing PCR diagnostics.
The complex has mobility, autonomous functioning and a high level of biological safety. Popova stressed that it will strengthen Armenia’s capabilities to respond to infectious diseases and will maintain a high level of sanitary and epidemiological welfare in the country.
Today in the republic there are three mobile laboratories and three mobile clinics transferred by Rospotrebnadzor earlier.
