Russia does not appear before the International Court of Justice

Russia’s seat was empty in International Court of Justice (ICJ)the main judicial body of the United Nations (UN). The hearings began on the morning of this Monday (07).

Ukraine has asked the UN’s highest court to order an end to the Russian invasion. According to French newspaper Le Figaro, Anton Korynevich, a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Court, said: “They are not here before this court, they are on the battlefield, waging an aggressive war against my country. This is how Russia resolves its differences.”
