Special Representative Kabulov: There is no inclusive government in Afghanistan now
The Taliban movement (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) needs to form an inclusive government in Afghanistan, which has not yet been done. About this “Izvestia” said the special representative of the Russian President for Afghan affairs Zamir Kabulov.
“Not yet, it’s ahead,” the diplomat said. He emphasized that Moscow has repeatedly pointed out to the Taliban the need to fulfill this condition in order for the Taliban to be recognized as the legitimate government in Afghanistan.
In the fall of 2021, the movement promised to make the Afghan government more inclusive by including representatives of a number of nationalities – Pashtuns, Uzbeks, Tajiks and others.
Earlier, Zamir Kabulov said that the problem of women’s rights is an internal matter of Afghanistan, and therefore this issue was removed from the agenda in Russian-Afghan relations. The President’s Special Representative noted that Moscow “may not like what is happening with the Afghans.”
