Russia began on Wednesday (26) maneuvers with its strategic nuclear forces called “Grom” (thunder, in Russian), which are commanded by videoconference by the country’s president, Vladimir Putin.
In the exercises, the first since the beginning of the so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine, a mass nuclear launch simulation was carried out in response to an enemy attack with similar weapons, as detailed by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Choigu.
