Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Reuters that Moscow had told Ukraine it could stop operations “at any moment” if Kyiv complied with Russia’s conditions.
“Ukraine must amend the constitution and renounce any demands to join any bloc,” a Kremlin spokesman said.
The second condition is the complete cessation of Ukrainian military operations, and Russia will complete the disarmament step in Ukraine, according to Peskov.
The Kremlin spokesman also stressed the condition that Ukraine recognize Crimea as a Russian territory, and that it recognize Donetsk and Luhansk as independent states.
Peskov added that Ukraine was aware of the terms, and “they were told that all this could stop in a moment.”
