The judge of the National audience responded to the accusation presented by the Prosecutor’s Office, the Spanish player and the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) against Rubiales and ordered him to pay in the next 24 hours, 65,000 euros deposit, “to face the civil responsibilities to which he could be sentenced for a crime of sexual assault,” explained the Ace Newspaper of Spain.

The resolution, against which there is no appeal, points to the Central Criminal Court of the National audience as the person in charge of prosecuting this procedure by virtue of the penalties requested by the accusations and gives a period of ten days to those investigated to present their defense briefs.
