RTVE opened on Thursday, October 17, a disciplinary file against a Corporation employee, “result of the progress of research” derived from the leak of the questions of the Information and Content theoretical test on September 29.
The initiation of this disciplinary file is “as a result of the progress of the information file” which was opened in its day, based on the instructions conveyed by the Board of Directors and its interim Presidency to the RTVE Human Resources and Organization Directoratethe public entity has reported.
RTVE has detailed that the disciplinary file is based on the alleged non-complianceon the part of the worker, of what is stipulated in the RTVE Collective Agreementas well as the action manual of the Valuation Committee. Therefore, is suspended “given the existence of well-founded indications of criminal illegality and the current practice of a police investigation in that regard.”
The Corporation has assured that will continue working with “the utmost determination to clarify the factsguaranteeing maximum transparency and will proceed to demand the corresponding responsibilities.” As the interim president already said, Cascajosa Conceptionat the parliamentary headquarters, “will continue to collaborate with the police investigation of the Central Economic and Fiscal Crime Unit (UDEF).
Finally, RTVE has recalled that continue also the assessment of merits and allocation of permanent positions in the different typical occupations and that this weekend the Documentation tests will be carried out (Saturday, October 19) and Production Assistance (Sunday, October 20).
