The Argentine greeted the team and fans on Instagram: “It didn’t go as I wanted but I always did everything to try to overturn my destiny”
Roma greets Javier Pastore saving, gross, more than a year’s salary plus bonuses, therefore over 7 million euros. The Argentine, contracted until 2023, resolved today and greeted Roma with a post on Instagram: “It is not easy for me to leave this club, the city and these fans with the awareness of not being able to meet the expectations that they had been stored in me. Anyone who knows me knows how much I have suffered and with what commitment I have worked to try to overturn my destiny. Ours was not a lucky story, but in leaving I also feel I have kept intact a feeling of respect and gratitude towards this city and towards the people who three years ago welcomed me with love and enthusiasm. I wish you to be able to celebrate great successes soon: Rome, Roma and their fans deserve them ”. Roma, for its part, wished Pastore “the best fortunes for the future”.
Arriving in the summer of 2018, Pastore had cost Roma almost 25 million euros in a ticket. His story was cut down by injuries, with just 37 appearances and 4 goals. The Argentine leaves with many regrets, but also with a great bond with teammates who in recent years, in any case, have always considered him one of the group. Now, in the last hours of the transfer market, he will try to find a team, with something that is moving between Italy, Spain and the Emirates.
