In recent months, there has been public debate about the prejudices faced by the Roma. Studies show that a significant proportion of Roma have experienced discrimination because of their background. In this story, three young people with a Roma background share their own views on what life like a Romani in Finland is like.

In the guest in the store Katja Thesslund, 22, stays as far away from the shelves as possible and avoids unnecessarily touching the products.

For example, when buying a new soap, Thesslund does not take the bottle by hand and inspect its ingredients but makes a purchase decision based on the appearance of the bottle.
