At the Tokyo Game Show 2024, Square Enix launched the Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven Official Demoa complete remake of the 1993 Japanese role-playing game. The demo version is playable on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
The Japanese publisher is keen to let us know that saves can be used in the final versionin case you decide to make the leap. For the latter, you won’t have to wait long, since it’s scheduled for release on October 24, 2024.

So the gameplay varies depending on how you decide to expand the empire and face the seven heroes.
The demo ends with a battle with Kzinssieone of the Seven Heroes, who sets the stage for what is presented as a multi-generational story.
