presidential candidate Rodolfo Hernández, one of the three with the best projections according to the latest polls, decided to talk about a subject that has been little talked about in these elections: sports.
The Santanderean stated during an interview with ‘Caracol Radio’ that he is a fan of Atlético Bucaramanga and that, in his university days, he faced Santa Fe. Likewise, Hernández once again publicly thanked the cyclist Nairo Quintana for expressing his support. But, in the eyes of netizens, the most striking thing about her dialogue about sports had to do with the way she answered a question about women’s soccer.

‘Do you like women’s football?’
“Do you like women’s soccer?” journalist ‘Chemas’ Escandón asked the candidate.
“The truth is that I hardly see that”Hernandez responded.
Then the reporter inquired: Don’t you like women’s football?”
“Yes… well, it’s football. Let’s support is sport in general. But there are two branches of sport: competitive and recreational. Both must be supported,” concluded the candidate.
