Looks like, the prediction of the actor Vladimir Goryansky the fact that movie scripts will soon be written by robots may justify itself faster than previously thought, and artificial intelligence (AI) may replace humans in some areas of its activity in the foreseeable future.
The reason for such assumptions (and fears) is an experiment recently conducted by the South Korean TV channel MBN, which presented its new presenter to viewers, writes Life with reference to Oddity Central.
“The journalist is amazing! With perfect diction and minimal chance of making a reservation live. Moreover, it is not limited by space and time. That’s right, because she is the result of the work of a whole team specialists in artificial intelligence “, – notes the author of the article.
The AI presenter was based on journalist Kim Joo-ha, who has been working for MBN for several years now and has fallen in love with many viewers. But now no one can be sure whether the screen is really a real woman or her digital copy. It’s not easy to notice the substitution – the similarity is incredible: from the appearance and voice to the characteristic gestures with which Kim is remembered.
“I was created through deep study of Kim Joo-ha’s 10 hours of broadcasts. I worked in detail on her voice, facial expressions, lip movements and the whole body. Now I can broadcast the news just like Kim does. “ – says the lady robot.
It is noted that MBN has developed technology to create copies of the leading ones in partnership with Money Brain, which produces artificial intelligence. Now the channel hopes to use AI journalists to cover important events, if suddenly there were no presenters in the editorial office. But in the future there is a chance that digital reporters will appear regularly on the air,
Earlier, “FACTS” wrote that in an interview with our publication, a famous showman, television and radio host Dmitry Chekalkin told about how Ukrainians can use AI already in the current reality.
