RM commemorates BTS’ 11th anniversary and talks about the emotional reunion with his friends

The South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer, music producer and model Kim Namjoonbetter known as RM and who is currently performing his military service as an active soldier, published a special message on the Weverse platform in commemoration of the eleventh anniversary of BTS’s debutone of the best musical groups of all time.

“What kind of faces will everyone have at the 12th anniversary next year? I miss you. It’s been eleven years now. It’s just a matter of waiting one more year. I just realized that a lot of people still haven’t forgotten us and we wait and love us. Overflowing love. As always, I will only think about the members and have a good time every day. Thank you, looking forward to the next beginning of summer,” he said. RMleader of BTS.

In his letter, RM also spoke about the recent meeting of the seven members of BTS, before Jin’s departure from military service. “Jin was finally discharged from the army three days ago. I brought a saxophone and played it for fun, but I actually had mixed feelings. It was nice to be able to meet with all the members for the first time in a long time, have a drink and talk openly (even though more than half of it was about the military haha) Why did I miss these people so much? I called them often and asked how they were. I miss the members a lot, I bet you do too. When we actually talked face to face, I realized again the things that never change, the place I had to return to, and what kind of person I was. “It was a significant and precious moment for all of us.”

On May 24, RM of BTS released his second solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” which contains 11 songs that captures some of the universal emotions we all experience at some point in life, like the feeling of being an outsider who doesn’t fit in. About her new musical work she said:

“In April 2023, I postponed my plan to enlist with Hoseok and ended up joining my younger brothers. I think I spent the last 23 years drinking and working. This is my first job where I couldn’t tell you what I think in person, there are a lot of things I want to say, but it’s all written on the album. This is just an album that I struggled to be honest with myself. I hope you listen to it again and again for a long time.”
