Chihuahua, Chih.- The mayor, Marco Antonio Bonilla Mendoza, announced that for the second consecutive time the International Chihuahua Festival (FICH) and the International Festival of the City of Chihuahua (Ficuu) will join forces.
The Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin will be in charge of inaugurating the Bicentennial edition of the FICH, on October 10 at 8:00 pm in the Plaza del Ángel.
This, within the framework of the 315th anniversary of the founding of the city of Chihuahua and 200 years of the state.
“Thanks to Governor Maru Campos, this collaboration will be carried out between the State and Municipal Governments, to hold this party from October 10 to 26 in three stages: El Palomar, El Rejón and Plaza del Ángel,” commented the municipal president.
“From the Municipal Government we are convinced that by joining forces and working together, we will be able to make culture a human right and accessible to all Chihuahuans. Here we have great artists full of talent,” he celebrated.
He highlighted that in Chihuahua art, culture, anniversary of its foundation, history and traditions are celebrated.
He invited families to keep an eye on the billboard on the social networks of the Municipal Institute of Culture and the Municipal Government, to join this party that will have many free events.
On October 11 ‘Norteños Chingones’ will be in the city; On the 12th, Natalia Jiménez, and on the 13th they will present the play ‘Seven times goodbye’, among others.
“Through Ficuu, let us continue in Chihuahua, the capital, giving direction to all of Mexico,” highlighted the mayor of the capital.
