The wealthy Amsterdam criminal Gordon F. (40) was arrested this afternoon in the Cornelis Schuytstraat in Amsterdam South by an arrest team on suspicion of involvement in the shooting in the night from Sunday to Monday in Lijnden.
During the arrest in a shop, a friend of F. offered some resistance, but the suspect was quickly removed.
Lamborghinic
Monday morning around 6 a.m along the main road of Lijnden, adjacent to Amsterdam-Osdorp, a 29-year-old from Amsterdam with a gunshot wound was found in a yellow Lamborghini sports car. He would have said that he had been shot in a house further away, but did not want to file a report. He was taken to a hospital out of danger.
Gordon F. lives just down the road in a spacious villa with outbuildings, behind sturdy fences. He is a descendant of a very wealthy Amsterdam entrepreneurial family, but was also convicted of shooting a drug dealer in De Pijp in 2001 and possessing weapons.
wild parties
Gordon F.’s house regularly hosts wild parties. He is constantly embroiled in heated conflicts, both with ex-partners and with serious criminals. He also counts notorious underworld figures among his friends.
assassination plan
In October 2015, two Amsterdammers, then 26 years old, were preparing a murder of Gordon F. according to the justice system. In the Indische Buurt, one of them tried to fix a sounding beacon under F.’s Porsche Panamera, after the detective had previously warned him that he was on a ‘death list’.
Race team owner
In December, the Italian restaurant Cinema Paradiso in the Westerstraat in the Jordaan, which was previously owned by Gordon F., was recently sold. He also has a car tuning company in Amsterdam-Noord, and has a racing team that is active on the Zandvoort circuit, among other places.
Lawyer Gerald Roethof of Gordon F. says he cannot respond to his arrest. His client is in complete limitations and is not allowed to have any contact with the outside world except with his counsel.
