Mexico.- The coordinator of Morena in the Senate, Ricardo Monreal expressed his support for Senator Rocío Abreuwho stars in a new scandal after spreading a video where you receive cash together with others collaborators close to Layda SansoresGovernor of Campeche, in the weeks leading up to the 2021 elections.
Questioned about the controversy, Ricardo Monreal assured that He has known Rocío Abreu for years and he has a lot of confidence in him for his “honesty and rectitude”, however, he pointed out that the morenista would have to clarify the controversy in which she has been involved with Raúl Pozos Lanzs and Armando Toledo Jamitcurrent collaborators of the Sansores government.
“I have always seen her act with great honesty and rectitude in four yearsI’m not going to change my opinion. I don’t know, she’ll have to comment, but Senator Rocío Abreu has been an excellent senator and I don’t know what happened,” said the Zacatecan.

In the video leaked by the media N+ the senator from Morena, Rocío Abreu; the current Secretary of Education of Campeche, Raúl Pozos Lanz, and the head of the Office of the Governor, Armando Toledo Jamit, receiving wads of bills in the middle of the electoral season.
When questioned by the press, Abreu denied having received any moneyalthough later he veiledly accepted that he did it to carry out “managements” for the Campeche government.
