In this maze of rules and extensions concerning car inspections since November 1, 2021 also took over theincrease of the tariff of about 10 euros that the Government has mitigated with the so-called “Revisions bonus”.
Now the cost has gone from 66.88 to 78.75 euros and the government contribution is of 9.95 euroswhich can be requested only once in the three-year period e for one motor vehicle only.
Review deadline after extension
And what will the date be review deadline revision subsequent to that of the extension? The extension only valid for 2020 and the subsequent expiry (every 2 years) will be valid month of last revision and not the month of first registration. Automatically, at the end of the revision cycle, the next deadline.
Therefore, giving a practical example, if a vehicle overhauled on 13/03/2018with the revision due within the month of March 2020 and is revised on 22/05/2020the next deadline will be by May 2022 and no longer March.
