One of the missiles that Iran launched last night against Israel had the message “Revenge for beloved Haniyeh” written on it, in reference to the Hamas political leader assassinated in Tehran in July.

This was reported in X by the Tasnim news agency, close to the Revolutionary Guard, an elite military body that yesterday launched the attack with 200 ballistic missiles against the Jewish State.
The message on the social network was accompanied by a video that shows a long missile with a small text that reads “True Promise 2”, in reference to the name of the operation, and then the message about Haniyeh is read along.
The Palestinian was murdered at the end of July in Tehran while attending the inauguration of the president of Iran, Masud Pezeshkian, a murder attributed to Israel and which was one of the reasons given by the Revolutionary Guard for last night’s attack.
The attack was also retaliation for the killings of Lebanese Hezbollah militia leader Hasan Nasrallah and an Iranian general in an Israeli bombing raid in Beirut on Saturday.
After the attack, Iran warned countries in the region that it will consider as “enemies” those who cede their airspace to Israel for possible retaliation after last night’s missile attack and asked the United States not to interfere.
But at the same time, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchí, held talks this Wednesday with his counterparts from the United Kingdom, France and Germany to try to reduce the growing tension.
This is the second Iranian missile attack against Israel, since last April it attacked its territory for the first time with another series of missile and drone bombardments in response to the death of seven soldiers at the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
