It’s barely the end of October, but anyway, Returnal has already brought home its first (and perhaps not last) recognition of Game of the Year, or GOTY. The awards Develop: Star were carried out in Brighton last week, and the roguelike from Housemarque was regarded as the game with Best Visual Art, as well as the other previously mentioned recognition.

Perhaps the competition was not so difficult this year, since among the other games nominated for GOTY we had Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope and The Lost Campfire, but the achievement is certainly worthy of admiration.
On the other hand we have Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, who won the award for Best Audio, and Sumo studio, authors of Sackboy: A Big Adventure, they took the award as the Best Study.
If you haven’t played Returnal Lately, then remember that it is already possible to “save” your progress in the middle of the game and here we will tell you more details about it.
Editor’s note: More than deserved this recognition for Returnal, and it will surely not be the last. With The Game Awards in December, it would not be surprising if the new Housemarque it is going to take many other prizes.
