Ciudad Juarez.- The Juarez company S-Mart presented the results of the Second Campaign of the Rounding Program “Help with your change” 2024, carried out in its supermarkets, and which was exercised from March 1 to April 30 of this year.
In the audit carried out by the accounting firm Deloitte Galaz, Yamazaki, Ruiz, Urquiza, SC, it was determined that the amount to be delivered is three million 728 thousand 651.11 pesos, a total that already includes the amount for interest generated to the date of the closing of the campaign and will be delivered in its entirety to the organization.
With the above and through this public event, we want to fulfill our commitment to give clear accounts to all S-Mart customers, who voluntarily contributed their pennies and made it possible to collect this important amount of money that is being symbolically delivered today.
The amount will be allocated to the Mexican Association for Attention to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, AC
The project, it was reported, consists of reducing psychopedagogical and emotional problems in children with special educational needs and providing support to their families, through awareness-raising on issues of inclusion and life and career planning; providing language and/or learning therapies, psychological therapy, math skills therapy and group psychological therapy.
Likewise, Pueblo de Gracia, AC, will support children and young people with limited economic resources from the Árbol de Vida shelter, providing them with good food with a dining service, recreational activities and promotion of values; as well as providing shelter and transportation to their schools to children who require it for economic or family reasons.
Also to the Salvation Army, AC, whose project is to support single mothers and low-income families to shelter their children with half the cost of a regular daycare center for people without social security benefits, offer values and quality care, support vulnerable families in the community with food supplies, support migrants and homeless people with meals, distribution of items such as blankets and clothing; as well as, offer music classes to young people, adults and seniors in the community.
Support will also go to Crecimiento Humano y Educación para la Paz, AC, which will implement a psychosocial intervention and peace education program in Riberas del Bravo in Ciudad Juárez, so that children, youth and adults can strengthen their capacity for dialogue, in order to contribute to the prevention and reduction of violence; serve elementary school children with the workshop “Life Skills,” youth and adults with the workshop “Peaceful Conflict Resolution”; and provide psychotherapy to anyone who requires it. Below are the details of the campaign: It was reported that the average amount contributed by S-Mart Customers each time they said YES to Rounding was $0.36.
84.48 percent of customers who shopped at S-Mart supermarkets during this campaign period were good enough to say YES to the round-up, Smart stressed.
“The effort and commitment of the cashiers and management of the Acacias branch place it in first place in efficiency in customer participation, since out of every hundred customers who bought at this branch, 100 have made purchases,” said the Juarez company.
He added that 91.36% said YES to the Rounding.
“We also recognize the effort and commitment of the cashier staff and management of the Aztecas branch, which placed it in first place in terms of amount, with the sum of $120,110.24. At an individual level, the highest efficiency was obtained by Ms. Rosa García from the Acacias branch, who served nearly 10,481 customers, of which 100% said yes to the Rounding.”
Likewise, thanks were given to cashier Sandra Gómez, from the Río Grande branch, who obtained first place in fundraising, collecting $5,682.53 for this cause.
In interior cash registers, first place went to Isabel De la Cruz from the Altamirano branch who served more than 2,905 customers, 100% of whom said YES to rounding.
“Thanks to the Clients who trust in the good management and clear use of the resources from the Rounding,” the company said. “Thanks to the extraordinary team of the cashier department, made up of the Managers, Assistant Managers and Cashier Coordinators, and of course, the Help Angels, Cashiers and Tellers who demonstrate their solidarity and commitment to the needs of our Community every day,” it added.
He announced that the Fourth Rounding Campaign 2024 “HELP WITH YOUR CHANGE” began on July 1st and will be valid until August 31st of this year.
