Tuesday enters into force a number of new restrictions throughout Uusimaa. For example, swimming pools and other facilities used for sports will be closed to adult enthusiasts for two weeks.

The exceptions are children and young people, who are born here in 2004 and younger. For them, it is allowed to organize guided hobbies, even if the premises should otherwise be closed.

Similarly, facilities may continue to be used for statutory services such as medical rehabilitation. Professional sports are also excluded from the restrictions.

Otherwise it is a regulation, not a recommendation. The regulation applies to both public and private operators and cannot be circumvented, for example, by means of a corona passport or by limiting the number of visitors. For example, spas, public saunas and indoor playgrounds are closed.

Indoor events are prohibited for three weeks. So you can’t go to the movies or the concert, for example.

Flamingo Span CEO Sanna Himberg says that the restrictions that came on a very fast schedule are again aware of the new co-operation negotiations. It is a pity that the restrictions also apply to activities that otherwise promote health.

He hopes the state will support in financial difficulties.

The government, for its part, outlined restrictions on the near future just before Christmas. These, in turn, affect restaurants, for example. In Uusimaa, drinks at the bars will end tomorrow at 5 pm, there may be half the number of customers normally allowed.

Food restaurants must stop drinking at 5pm, but are allowed to keep their doors open until 8pm. Customers may have 75 percent of the number normally allowed.

The restrictions are valid for three weeks and cannot be circumvented with a corona passport.
