The series of Resident Evil is clearly growing after the excellent release of the remake of the fourth chapter, which came really close to winning the GOTY 2023, giving Capcom a lot of satisfaction.
For this reason, the company is investing money and developers to create new chapters of the series: some rumors suggest that, currently, Capcom is working on 5 chapters of the horror saga, including the much talked about and very ambitious Resident Evil 9 which, according to numerous rumors, should be a title of a quality never seen before.
However, the fans' enthusiasm could be slowed down due to some statements from the well-known insider Dusk Golemwhich recently reported that the ninth chapter of the sagafor reasons unknown to us, would have been internally postponedin favor of a new announcement expected soon.
Has Resident Evil 9 been internally delayed?
Dusk Golem posted that he has “been hearing whispers the last few months that RE9 might've been internally delayed” and “seen suggested that another RE game may end up being announced and released first before RE9”.

Whether it is perhaps about a new remake that mysterious “game that will catch many people off guard”? We'll probably find out very soon.
