Israel’s army continues to attack Hezbollah positions in its neighboring country. There are reportedly more deaths. The Lebanese militia claims responsibility for new attacks on Israel.
Beirut – According to the army, Israel’s air force is continuing its bombing of Hezbollah militia targets in Lebanon. The Israeli military also registered around 300 missiles fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
Four residents and a Syrian refugee were killed in Israeli attacks in the town of Duair, south of Beirut, reported the Lebanese state agency NNA. In Nabatijeh in the south, six people were killed in air strikes.
The Israeli Air Force attacked dozens of targets of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah in the east and south of the neighboring country this evening, including weapons depots and rocket launch pads, Israel’s army said. The attacks are therefore continuing.
The NNA reported heavy bombardments in several locations in southern Lebanon and further attacks in Baalbek in the east of the country.
Hezbollah, meanwhile, claimed responsibility for numerous attacks on Israeli territory. The Shiite organization announced that it had, among other things, twice attacked a military base in northern Israel near the city of Safed with rocket salvos. dpa
