Renzi, business in China. An Italian behind the operation
The case of the private consultancy of Matteo Renzi abroad is enriched with a new chapter. It turned out the name of the Chinese company which finances the collaborations of the leader of Italy Viva. The company – we read about the Truth – is called “Matthew pr”. The group ended up in the crosshairs of the Bank of Italy for suspicious transactions, the company in question would indeed have sent “repetitive credit transfers” on behalf of Renzi. All from 8.33 euros. What caught the eye of risk managers was the transfer of 1.1 million of euro made on 13 December 2021 by the former secretary of the Democratic Party on an account opened on 5 November, perhaps for some real estate investment.
But who is there – continues the Truth – behind the “Matteo pr” that contributes to the sustenance of the former prime minister? There would be Lu Weiwho with the sixty-one-year-old Neapolitan Marina Leo, Renzi’s talent scout, who owns a company based in Rotterdam in Hollanda country that offers advantageous taxation and has been attracting European companies for years, as in the past FCA. There Leo through her company she was the first to be awarded the services of Renzi. His company CSA, initially based in Italy, was then moved to Holland. Then Leo became CEO of Qiaothe Chinese company specializing in “international non-governmental exchanges and cooperations” by promoting the candidacy of the leader of Italia Viva as a speaker for international conferences.
