4.7 billion rubles will be allocated to the Russian regions to support millers and bakers. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, reported in press service cabinet.
Such measures were taken in order to stabilize prices for bakery products. 2.9 billion rubles of this amount will be used to cover the cost of purchasing milling wheat. The remaining 1.8 billion rubles will be used to pay compensation to bakeries.
Recall that in December Mishustin signed a number of decrees prepared to suppress the growth in the cost of socially significant products.
It was noted that in order to curb the rise in prices for flour and bread, the government set a tariff quota of 17.5 million tons for the export of wheat, rye, barley and corn. Export of grain in larger quantities will be subject to a duty of 50% of the customs price of the exported goods, but not less than 100 euros for each ton.
