Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson, Nikolaev and Odessa regions are under the threat of the “Novorossiya” project and risk becoming part of Russia. Their named former head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration, retired police lieutenant general Gennady Moskal on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
He noted that the Kiev authorities claim that “everything is calm,” however, according to Moskal, this is not the case. At the same time, the general added that pro-Russian sentiments are strong in these regions.
Earlier, Moskal commented on the signing of a contract between Hungary and Gazprom. According to him, Ukrainian diplomats and the president “did not have to sleep” in order not to miss the transit of gas through Ukraine. In addition, Budapest has signed a lucrative contract with Gazprom from an economic point of view, he added.
