79 delegates will be elected to the council of Finland’s third largest welfare area. Just over 61 per cent of those entitled to vote in the area are from Espoo.
As expected, the Coalition Party will hold a leading position in the Western Uusimaa Welfare Area Council after the advance votes have been counted. The Coalition Party accounted for 33.1 per cent of the advance votes.
The SDP received the second highest number of advance votes, at 18 per cent.
Twelve per cent of the inhabitants of Western Uusimaa are Swedish-speaking and the strongest party in the region received the third highest number.
The Greeks were fourth and the Basic Finns were fifth.
23.2 per cent, or 86,540 Westerners, voted in advance, compared to 327,739. The highest turnout was in Kauniainen, where 38.9 per cent went to the polls. The lowest advance voting rate was in Espoo, where 21.8 per cent went to the polls before election day.
475,000 inhabitants The Welfare Area of Western Uusimaa is the third largest welfare area in Finland. Only Pirkanmaa and Varsinais-Suomi are larger. According to the population, 79 delegates are elected to the Western Uusimaa Welfare Area Council.
Western Uusimaa, formed by ten municipalities out of Uusimaa’s welfare areas, is the largest geographically. In addition to the municipalities, the welfare area includes the Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department. The structure of municipalities varies from Espoo with about 293,000 inhabitants to Inkoo with 5,000 inhabitants and from urban environments to rural areas.
Advance sounds it appeared that a number of well-known Espoo politicians were gaining a seat in the new council. The small municipalities of Western Uusimaa have been feared in advance how their voice will be heard in a large welfare area. Just over 61 percent of those eligible to vote in the region are from Espoo.
Voters outside Espoo are certainly interested in the position of Lohja and Raseborg hospitals.
The Conservative Party of Espoo received 35.8 per cent of the votes of the people of Espoo in the municipal elections last summer. According to advance votes, at least members of parliament are now going through the Coalition Party in Espoo Mia Laihowhich has received the fifth most votes in the country and Kai Mykkänen. The Coalition Party was also the largest party in the region in the municipal elections in Lohja, Siuntio and Vihti.
Sdp sound rake Western Uusimaa has a Member of Parliament, the former Minister of Basic Services Maria Guzenina. He is the Espoo City Councilor and a member of the City Board.
The only party to chair the party in Western Uusimaa was basic Finns Riikka Purra From Kirkkonummi. He is a likely breaker.
Rkp is the largest party in the municipalities of Western Uusimaa in as many as five municipalities, namely Hanko, Inkoo, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi and Raseborg, and Siuntio was shortly after the Coalition in the last municipal elections, but they have the same number of council seats. The NCB wants to ensure that people receive treatment in their own mother tongue, be it Finnish or Swedish.
The only MP in Western Uusimaa is the Chairman of the Kauniainen City Government Veronika Rehn-Kivi. Rehn-Kivi, who sits on the Parliamentary Social Affairs and Health Committee, is a likely passer-by.
In addition to Espoo Only Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi and Vihti are the population growth areas of the welfare area. Their population growth is based on the growth of the foreign-speaking population. 13 per cent of the inhabitants of Western Uusimaa speak a mother tongue other than Finnish, Swedish or Sámi.
In the six municipalities of the welfare area in Hanko, Inkoo, Karkkila, Lohja, Raseborg, Siuntio and Vihti, the population is declining. Karkkila and Vihti currently form the basic security consortium Karviainen.
At the same time The welfare area is home to Uusimaa’s sickest municipalities, Karkkila and Kauniainen, which suffer from fewer common diseases than elsewhere. The morbidity index of the National Institute for Health and Welfare, which includes seven serious disease groups, has been used as a measure of morbidity.
The municipalities of Uusimaa in Karkkila and Hanko are more ill than the national average. In addition to Kauniainen, Espoo is one of the three healthiest municipalities in Uusimaa.
Wellness areas In the establishment phase, the biggest problem in Western Uusimaa has been the coordination of different information systems. There have been 36 different patient information systems and thousands of food service contracts in the area.
The region has demanded additional funding from the state for the transformation of information systems, so that the activities of the welfare area can be rolled out on schedule.
