The General Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah has adopted an initiative to reduce public violations by 50% throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The Director General of the General Services Department, Eng. Khaled Al-Ali, said that the initiative comes as part of its efforts to bring happiness to its customers and members of society during the holy month, and to pay the value of recorded violations, indicating that the main goal of the violation is to educate community members about the importance of preserving the environment and following environmental regulations and guidelines.
Al-Ali added that preserving the sophistication of the general appearance of the Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah and its entertainment and service facilities is a joint societal responsibility, and the community members are our partners in enhancing the general civilized appearance through their commitment to dumping waste in the containers designated for that and refraining from throwing waste and waste randomly.
