Regarding the Gender Violence law, he recalled the “great social consensus of 2004” which, although he sees it as valid around feminism, has warned that the extreme right can break it with its entry into the institutions.
He has also highlighted the law as the reform that removed gender violence from the private sphere: “Now, the extreme right intends to return to the intra-familial sphere and, in fact, the terminology it uses is that, intra-family violence, domestic violence,” he insisted.
