Hoteliers from the port of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, reinforce health measures and protocols before him state return to red light due to the increase in cases of coronavirus, with the implementation of censuses of workers and family members who have not been vaccinated, as well as the hiring of a research center that performs rapid tests in hotels, in order to guarantee the health of workers and tourists who arrive at the port. This was pointed out by Julio Birrueta, from the Mazatlán Tourist Promotion Office.
While the Port hoteliers have implemented safety and health protocols, he said that tourists have been able to take care of themselves with their mask and antibacterial gel: “No one can guarantee how people are protected, the idea is that your guard is not lowered. We do not know when it can be infected”.
He referred a case of students arriving on the road, in which 45 people were traveling in a single truck, without a mask, so there is no way of knowing how these people were infected, “so we do not have more risk than in another. We must always protect ourselves, since they leave their city of origin”, He assured.
Before the red light declarations, he said that almost three weeks ago, two additional points were approved to the protocol measures already established, to keep the flow of tourists: “A census was made of the people who were already vaccinated, but for some reason, they and their families had not been vaccinated; as well as all the staff from 18 years to 30, who have already arrived the vaccines”.
The same way, in Mazatlán there is a Research Center that is dedicated to rapid tests, and hoteliers can perform tests on employees who are not in a position to work, with rapid tests, to detect the asymptomatic.
In case of detecting any irregularity, even those who have already been vaccinated, who could be infected but have no symptoms. Julio Birrueta said that there are hotels that have their own laboratories, with which to perform rapid tests for workers and peace of mind for tourists and travelers.
