Red Sunday in Oaxaca; five people executed in Colotepec

Oaxaca.- At least five people were killed in an armed attack inside a business in the community of the little port, in the municipality of Santa Maria Colotepec, Oaxaca.

According to local media, the civilians would have been attacked with bullets in an establishment, where a woman was also injured.

One of the victims would have beenl excommissariat Benedict “N”, 37 years old, while the other victims were mentioned as being Arcadio “N”, Mariano “N”, Concilio and Juan “N”, all of them aged between 45 and 55 years.

After the events, the Oaxaca State Attorney General’s Office reported through a statement that it opened the investigation folder for the homicide of 5 men in an event that occurred on the night of February 27 inside an establishment in the aforementioned town.

He added that in this situation, the Prosecutor’s Office, through the Regional Vice Prosecutor’s Office for the Coast, deployed its multidisciplinary team to initiate the corresponding proceedings and find the possible perpetrators.
