Red Bull Half Court 2021 has arrived at the most anticipated moment: on Saturday 31 July, starting at 5 pm, the Italian final of the 3 against 3 tournament will take place, which saw the participation of men’s and women’s teams in various Italian cities.
The final act will be in Rome, on the redeveloped playground of Scalo S.Lorenzo, which had already hosted the first stage on 26 June. The field was inaugurated in March, after the redevelopment intervention carried out by Red Bull, together with the Remuria association and the Municipality II of Rome.
On the pitch, embellished by the splendid work of art created by the young and talented street artist Francesco Persichella aka PISKV, 16 men’s and 8 women’s teams will compete.
In the men’s field, in addition to the 8 finalists of the four Half Court events, there will also be 8 wild cards assigned to the winners of local tournaments held in various Italian cities: Ancona, Bari, Cagliari, Cremona, Florence, Milan, Salerno and Turin.
The winning teams will be able to fly to Russia on 12 September for the World Final, where they will face the other international finalists, from over 20 countries, to try to become Red Bull Half Court 2021 champions.
Space also for entertainment with the dj set by Damianito & WHTRSH and the Dance Performance of the UDA Rome.
The other Italian qualifying stages took place in Bologna on July 15th, in Milan on the 17th and in Treviso on the 24th.
