In Yalta, work on the reconstruction of the Swallow’s Nest Palace has been completed. According to the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, the object will be commissioned next week.
“The readiness is high. There is the acceptance of works. Yesterday we spoke with (Crimean Minister of Culture Novoselskaya) Arina Vadimovna that next week the facility is ready to be fully commissioned, ”Aksyonov said.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Yevgeny Kabanov clarified that next week a visit to the facility will take place, during which the authorities will check whether the contractor has eliminated previously identified deficiencies. “Swallow’s Nest” is an architectural monument of federal significance, located on the 40-meter-high Aurora cliff of Cape Ai-Todor in the village of Gaspra on the southern coast of Crimea. The building was erected in 1912 thanks to the Russian oil industrialist P.L. Steingel, who decided to build a romantic castle reminiscent of medieval buildings in Germany.
