The contract that Hazard signed, from 2019 to 2024, had some clauses that are still in force, even with the player already retired: one of them (about 130 million pounds plus 40 in bonuses) states that if Real Madrid reaches the final of the great European club competition, “The conditions of his transfer after leaving Stamford Bridge were still valid”,
