Julia Huusko wrote (HS Opinion 10.10.)that adding calorie information to lunches would help make more informed choices and avoid overeating.
I dare to claim that the overeating of food at buffets is not due to people not knowing how many calories the food contains. The issue is more influenced by the general human way of eating for all the money. If we switched to charging for food according to its weight and also priced vegetables more cheaply than calorie-dense food, the problem of overeating would probably disappear. There would also be less food waste if we didn’t put more food on the plate than we can eat.
