SAO PAULO (Reuters) – RD, owner of drugstore chains Raia and Drogasil, announced this Tuesday that it had net income of 266.4 million reais in the second quarter, compared to 60.2 million reais a year earlier.
In adjusted terms, the company’s profit for the period totaled 232 million reais from April to June, against 61.7 million reais in the same stage of 2020.
RD’s operating performance measured by earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) adjusted was 497.1 million reais, against 231.8 million a year earlier.
