Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Football Association, expected the fans to return to the stands next February, while adhering to the requirements for entry and exit from the stadiums, which would contribute to their continued presence on the stadium to encourage their clubs, praising the government’s directives regarding the football protocol during the current season, describing it as “Very motivated”, because he covered one of the most challenging stages in football management in recent years, and he said: We were able to start the current season with excellent quality, with minimal damage.
The President of the Football Association thanked the players, coaches and officials in the clubs for their commitment to all the provisions of the protocol, and said: Everyone managed to preserve the sports scene, so that the first round of the season ended “smoothly”, and it is expected that the second round will be completed in the same way and better as well, so that things return like the previous.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi described the board meeting as “fruitful” and said: We talked about many issues to draw a better strategy for football in the Emirates, and more than one decision was taken, including appointing coaches for the Olympic and youth teams, and we adopted the strategy for the different Sunni stages in the two teams. So that there is a unified view of these emerging generations, to be the nucleus of the first team, and we also agreed on the necessity of open channels of communication and more harmony, and complementary work between all national team coaches, to achieve goals in the coming months, and some of them during the coming years, in order to achieve the desired results.
He pointed out that several topics were also discussed, related to women’s football, the referees committee and competitions in general, and the status of players, and appropriate decisions were taken that benefit the football sector in the country.
