Rashid bin Humaid: “Citigroup” is an experience rich in lessons and stimulating for success

Yesterday, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Football Association, discussed with Ferran Soriano, CEO of City Football Group “City Group” and Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, the prospects for cooperation between the Football Association and “City Group”, which is a model Professionally in qualifying and refining football talents, as well as being a huge investment project that has achieved successive successes over the past years.
During the meeting that took place at Expo 2020 Dubai, the President of the Football Association praised the experience of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs with Citigroup for football, stressing that this experience has become thanks to His Highness’s vision as a role model in the field of football. The whole world because of the huge and continuous development of this group, as well as because of its economic growth and the achievement of many achievements.
The meeting reviewed City’s plans and programs for developing football talents and the results achieved by the group’s teams, especially Manchester City.
On the other hand, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stressed the Football Association’s keenness to benefit from the experience of “Citigroup” because it is rich in lessons and stimulating because of its amazing successes, great achievements and great ambitions.
The meeting was attended by Salem Ali Al Shamsi and Saif Majid Al Mansouri, members of the Board of Directors of the Football Association, Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Federation, and Omar Yabroudi, Assistant Secretary General for Technical Affairs.
