One of the most popular series of mangaka Rumiko Takahashi is Ranma 1/2, This series takes us to a unique world where our favorite characters can change their shape or gender, if they receive a hot or cold bath. His success is such that now even the maraichis are playing his music.
This is the case of the musician Ángel Ortíz and his mariachi (@aoysutictoc), who shared their version of the series’ opening on their social networkscomplete with trumpets and violins so you can serenade your loved one.
This group has already made other musical arrangements of anime themes such as the entrance of Digimon ‘If you you want you can fly’ (Butterfly of Wada Koji). But this one of Ramna 1/2 has caught the attention of fan pages who have celebrated this unique version of their favorite series.
The video begins with the message: ‘How right Ranma was when he said…’ to continue directly with the third verse of the Latin opening: ‘Look how fast time is going. Maybe you can regret it. Everything ends and does not warn. You have your life to live. If you see me, Ranma I’m yours, this love is growing. Please, Ranma, say yes and I’ll give you my heart.’
A fun mariachi tribute to Ranma ½
the sleeve of Ranma ½ was originally published in the Shūkan Shōnen Sunday magazine of the publisher Shōgakukan from August 19, 1987 to March 6, 1996, organized in 38 volumes in tankōbon format and the anime series that we met in Mexico ended up being animated in 1992 with 161 episodes.
We recommend: Urusei Yatsura, the first work of the author of Ranma ½, returns with a new anime
The arrangement of the musician Ángel Ortíz and his mariachi of the opening of Ranma ½ show that this anime is still valid in the hearts of its fans who knew this series at the beginning of the century and the end of the 90’s.
