Claudio Ranieri’s tour of Europe continues. The Italian coach is back in the Premier League to take charge of Watford’s training.
After taking the reins of Chelsea (2000-2004), Leicester (2015-2017) and Fulham (2018-2019), Claudia Ranieri is back on the English sidelines since the transalpine coach signed a two-season lease on the Watford side.
Premier League champion with Leicester in 2016, the man who will celebrate his seventy years old next October 20 had been free since leaving Sampdoria on May 21. He replaces Xisco Munoz on the bench Hornets and will have to make sure to keep the club in the top flight.
🤝 Watford FC is delighted to confirm the appointment of Claudio Ranieri as the club’s new Head Coach.
Welcome to Watford, Claudio! 💛
