Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- With a flag hoisting at half-staff, the municipal authorities of Ahome commemorated in the early hours of today the 98th anniversary of the death of General Rafael Buelna Tenorio.
With the representation of Mayor Gerardo Vargas Landeros, the event was presided over by Cecilia Hernández, Attorney General, and Feliciano García, Director of Municipal Public Works, as well as military authorities and the Secretary of Public Security and Municipal Traffic.
The welcome was given by the teacher Alma Mariel Fierro Arrollo, director of Education, who highlighted the historical importance of the mourning commemoration of General Rafael Buelna Tenorio.

In the event it was announced that Rafael Buelna Tenorio came to the world on May 23, 1890 in the Villa de Mocorito Sinaloa. He was a Mexican soldier who participated in the Mexican Revolution. He died on January 23, 1924 in Morelia, Michoacán, while doing a field reconnaissance in front of 50 soldiers of his personal escort.
