Through a press release, Ubisoft he presented High Caliber, the fourth and final season of Year 6 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, the tactical first-person shooter released in 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, to then see a re-release also on next gen consoles in December 2020.
After Inside High Caliber we will see Thorn, an Irish-born Operator of medium speed and armor. It will be equipped with Razorbloom Shells, proximity explosives that once activated they trigger a timed detonation. If the opponents have not moved far enough out of the zone in time, they will be involved in the explosion when the timer runs out.
As for the arsenal, we will have a new primary weapon, the UZK50Gi, while the secondary weapons we can assign to the character a 1911 TACOPS or a C75-AUTO.

In addition to the character, in the new and final season High Caliber from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege we will also see the addition of the Outback map. It’s about a reworking of the same, redesigned to improve the balance and comfort of the player.
The main building and the outdoor area have been modified to allow Attackers to plan and implement more effective strategies. Some destructible exterior walls have been added to the building, while some areas have been remodeled and cleaned up to provide better lines of sight.
Among other updates of High Caliber we have:
- Team colors (blue, orange and red)
- Updated balance of Finka, Echo and Mozzie’s Drones, bulletproof cameras and new rules for outdoor cameras
- New customizations for Operator Cards, victory animations, colors and much more
- New HUDs
- A new version of Streamer Mode is planned for a limited number of creators later in the season
Finally, starting today, 9 November, the Server Test will be online, which will be opened in three different moments during the season. The content will be divided will be divided into three different releases: the Seasonal ST (available with Season 4), the ST Lab which includes experimental content and will be used to test options in first production and finally the Balancing ST which will contain the Operator and other changes.
